Primarily self-taught, Rachelle has been a professional artist for over 10 years.  Her luscious palette knife paintings reveal an artist who is passionate about the world around her as she captures the emotion and essence of life on the canvas.  

Rachelle works in oil using dynamic and bold marks, as she creates an original and exquisite body of work.  Her love of the natural beauty that surrounds us has moved Rachelle to share these special places and moments, capturing the emotion and impressions she feels and transferring them to canvas.  Her landscapes and trees often reflect her favourite time of year, fall, which is evident in the bold use of yellows, oranges, and reds.

She especially loves to work on large scale pieces.  Her work has a strong organic feel, her florals are imbued with light and texture using vivid colours juxtaposed with soft creams and whites.

She is represented in various galleries in Canada, and participates in select exhibitions throughout the year.
